What's up family and friends, How Trunky, finished, and DONE I truly am right now!! This is my last weekly letter and there are sooo many things to say, it feels sooo weird to me that I'm finishing up 2 years in the Florida Orlando Mission!! My last week was a solid one and I felt very good about the things that I've accomplished out here. Tomorrow I will head up to the chapel near the Mission home, I will see everyone else who is going home. <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_458_617" role="button" style="border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-color: rgb(0 , 120 , 215); color: #0078d7; cursor: pointer;" tabindex="0">We will have a little meeting and then we will go to the mission home spend the night and I will be on that Plane in the A.M. Soooo Friday I went to the Temple for the last time as a missionary! I went with the Elders and Sisters who are going home with me! It was such a great experience and I really felt the spirit very strongly! As I was praying I felt the conformation that what I have been doing for the past 2 years was great and the Lord was pleased in the things I've accomplished, even tho I was far from perfect! I have relied on the Lord countless times as I've been out here! I truly am thankful for my mission and the wonderful blessing it's been to me and will continue to be throughout my life!</div>

Man oh Man I'm going to miss all of the people and the friendships that I've made!! I've love the people of Florida and all of my amazing areas!! It all started in the beautiful Melbourne for 4 1/2 months, Elder Weiss trained me and then I spent time with Elder Honda!! Amazing Ward and the people are soo loving!! then I was on to Minneola for another 4 1/2 months with Elder Bateman.. and I enjoyed all of the Mission Homies (Bateman, King, Gillen, Stiggins, and Leishman...that I gained in the Blessed Hills!!! Went to Lake Reams for Christmas with my pops, Elder Weiss (Trainer) and enjoyed my time there! Went to Cocoa for 4 1/2 months, I was with Elder Fenn who is truly a good friend and Elder Goddard who inspired me to lose those Lbs!!! I really enjoyed the work and really loved the recent converts I had and the people I got to know! Then they shipped me to Kissimmee for just another 6 short weeks, had a blast there with Elder Hawkins! Went to Deland for 3 Months, Elder Olsen and I found and baptized someone in 1 transfer, that was a first for me!! Killed it with Elder Reyes!........uhhh feel like I'm out of breath just going through this lol... Finally after 18 months I landed in the Heart of Orlando, Olympia where I spent 3 months and grew to Love the Ward and amazing members...Elder Coon and I straight chillin in the Ghetto and Elder Russell who never failed to make me laugh! Last one.....Leesburg, 3 month sentence haha jk. I was a little nervous I wouldn't like it here but just like every area I've had there has always been amazing Gems (members) and lots of good experiences that I've grown to Love. I may have made my last Companion Elder Birchell very Trunky but he will be fine lol, he's been a trooper and a good friend. I've enjoyed all of my time here in Florida and wouldn't trade it for anything!!</div>

Kill it with the ladies and find someone to put a ring on it...don't worry I don't want to rush into it.. haha their is just soo many good things ahead of me and I'm grateful for the man my mission has made me! I know that centering my life upon Jesus Christ and his Gospel will guide me and my future family as I move forward, I know that God Lives, I know that Jesus Christ Lives and as we live and make the Gospel a priority, we will be blessed and we can return to them some day!!! </div>

Something I wanted to share for the last time was from <i>President Henry B. Eyring, "O Remember, Remember" ... find ways to recognize and remember Godโs kindness. It will build our testimonies. You will be blessed as you remember what the Lord has done. Those who are faithful to God are protected and prospered. That comes as the result of serving God and keeping His commandments.....Did I see His hand in my life? And then find a way to preserve that memory for the day that I, and those that I love, will need to remember how much God loves us and how much we need Him. I testify that He loves us and blesses us, more than most of us have yet recognized. I know that is true, and it brings me joy to remember Him. </i>I will never forgot and always remember the love that I've felt from God and my Savior Jesus Christ through this experience.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In Just 48 Hours I will be home lol, once again I love my mission, I love this great work and I'll continue to do them best i can to grow as a person!! I'm thankful for all of you guys that support me and show me love!! The final scripture I want to share comes from <b style="font-style: italic;">Heleman 5:12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall. </b>Love you scripture, love you all!! See you in 2 Days!! </div>

What's up family & friends, this is the beginning of my last week in the Mission. It's gone by so quick, it is hard to believe I am now stepping in to my last full week. Lately I have been reminiscing and just pondering on the past 24 months, and thinking of all the things I've learned and who I have become here in Central Florida. I really thought that this week would never come. <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_396_635" role="button" style="border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-color: rgb(0, 120, 215); color: #0078d7; cursor: pointer;" tabindex="0">This upcoming week will be sick, we have the last temple trip on Friday for me and the other elders and sisters going home with me, This week I have also been given permission to call members I love from around the mission and say goodbye.</span> So I will be calling all the cute YW from the wards and keeping in touch ;) just kidding of course. Lol This past week was really good, this area is what you would call popping right now!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
So first off we got to teach that new family (nonmembers) that moved in from Michigan a couple of times, they were both solid lessons!! I feel like this is already a Mormon family. Elder Birchell and I walk into their home and it just feels like a Mormon home, we got to know them and they are just the sweetest little family! During the lesson we were talking about the importance of scripture study and the dad was explaining to us how he has a hard time reading and comprehending the scriptures and so I was telling him how I read a couple of verses and then I break them down and look for ways to apply them to my life. I was impressed to share a scripture that I read earlier that morning, 1st Nephi 14:1.....it applied perfectly!!! This family has been going through a lot of struggles, the mother has had 5 major back surgeries in the last 14 months and the said multiple times that the Gospel has really held them through! They are amazing and just have a few things holding them back from baptism but nothing to worry about, it won't be long until they are able to join the church! </div>

Oh don't think even for a second that I forgot to mention...... I only have 9 days!!! Lololol Single Digits baby!! I'm thankful for all this great work the Lord is providing to keep me focused!!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", NotoColorEmoji, "Segoe UI Symbol", "Android Emoji", EmojiSymbols; font-size: 15px;">

We also received a media referral from a 16 year old kid who wanted a Book of Mormon, he's a cool kid. We taught him the restoration and he loved it... he said that his family is not religious but I've always wanted to be. He seemed very interested in the things we taught. He has been reading and texting us asking us questions. I've never met a teenager so eager to learn about the gospel. Hopefully things go well with him!</div>

Something I wanted to share this week comes from General Conference By Elder Eduardo Gavarret Of the Seventy "Yes, Lord I Will Follow Thee".....<i>Keep the Commandments; by doing so you are saying, โYes, Lord, I will follow Thee!โ As you strive to come to Him, you will gain the power to relieve lifeโs burdens, whether physical or spiritual, and experience a positive inner change that will help you be happier. โWho is the King of glory, this Lord of hosts? He is our Master. He is our Savior. He is the Son of God. He is the Author of our Salvation. He beckons, โFollow me.โ He instructs, โGo, and do thou likewise.โ He pleads, โKeep my commandments.โโ ....Keeping the commandments of the Lord can and will change our lives for the better. </i>I've seen it in many people as I've been on my mission.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", NotoColorEmoji, "Segoe UI Symbol", "Android Emoji", EmojiSymbols; font-size: 15px;">

Well here it is, once last chance to kill it all week..... hahaha I feel like I've got a ton to do this week!! It's all good. I love this work. I will miss it. The scripture I would like to share this week comes from the lesson that we had with the Uren Family! <b>1st Nephi 14:1</b> <i style="font-weight: bold;">hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks-- </i>love this scripture and the message we can learn from it, love you all hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day!! Have a good week!! You know I will!</div>

What's up family and friends,<br />
<br />
It is getting sooooo hard to stay focused, only 16 more days!! It's impossible not to count at this point! Haha Plus it doesn't help that every missionary around me asks how many days I have left. Lol Just too much excitement. I'm going to miss the mission lyfe that's for sure, Even though that's been tough we have had a ton of good things coming out of nowhere in our area. Lots of good work being provided by the good Lord in the area of Leesburg. <br />
<br />
First things first, Saturday was amazing!! It was the Baptism of Jeff, Suze and Michael Bajard down in Olympia. Elder Russell and I started teaching them about 3 months ago. They have been through a lot since then with losing their oldest daughter in a car accident. The baptismal service was perfect, it was a huge turn out of at least 50 people and their family was soo happy!! This was definitely one of the best moments I've had while being out here serving the Lord!! I said the closing prayer and their was so much gratitude in my heart! I feel so blessed to have been able to meet this strong family and see them go through soo much and still find peace in what matters most "The Gospel" I love that family and I'll always remember them.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

So this week we got 8 people to church, well we didn't hahaha the Lord did lol we did the best we could to encourage them. This new family showed up and after sacrament we go talk to them and find out that they are both non-members and they've been taught everything in Michigan and said that they know they belong to this Religion and it's only a matter of time until we join. We are planing on seeing them this week. They Most likely won't be baptized this transfer but it's all good! Ill do what i can to help them progress in the time I have left.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
So update on Sylvester who has been really good lately, he's been bringing a friend to church and she really enjoys it. Sylvester will not be getting baptized on the 25th, let's just say he needs 1st presidency approval. He super solid and has turned his life around. I'm not worried about it he'll be a member soon. </div>

We had a solid lesson with Caleb (11 yr old), he's such a cute kid and he's super smart! Not much progress has been made with the adoption that we know of. He has been struggling in a sense of feeling like God doesn't love him! We had a powerful lesson and helped him know that Heavenly Father Loves Him more than he could ever imagine!! He was sooo happy to hear that and wanted to say the closing prayer!! He said in his prayer please bless these missionaries and bless them that they will stay here FOREVER!! It breaks my heart that I'll have to leave him. I've grown to love that little kid! </div>

Something I wanted to share this week comes from in a talk from Dieter F. Uchdorf <i>My dear brethren, we have a great work to do. We stand overlooking the horizon of our age. It is my fervent prayer that in spite of temptations, we will never lower our standards; that in spite of distractions, wherever they may come from, we will not lose focus on what matters most; that we will stand resolute and together, shoulder to shoulder, as we valiantly bear the banner of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray lift our heads and with unwavering voice proclaim to the world, โWe are doing a great work, and we will not come down.โ</i></div>

Three weeks into my last transfer and things are going good, we had a lot of good things happen this week! I have 23 days left and it's hard not to think about home but I do want to make the best of the time I have left!! The work is looking up! This week we had 7 investigators at church, most of them came from members who invited their friends to church! The ward clerk comes up to Elder Birchell and I and says "Wow, I knew when I first saw you two in our ward that the work would pick up, you guys are Great Elders" while it was a nice compliment, I give all the credit to the Lord. He is the reason we are having success in this area.</blockquote>
It was nice to be able to have our referrals set appointments with us, we had really good visits with them, we taught them the Restoration! I have taught that lesson hundreds of times and it always feels good to teach it. That lesson really helps to invite the spirit and I know that those we teach feel that same spirit even if they can't recognize what it is. Hopefully we can start teaching them on a regular basis, one of them seemed really interested and wanted to learn more. <br />
<br />

Man, when I tell people how long I've been out they always bring up the question "what am I going to do when I get home?" Man I wish I knew hahahaha I always get Into good conversations about what they do for a career so it's good to get some advice. This week I was talking to a member who works in Construction Management and it really got me thinking about it..... soooo many things that I need to ponder and pray about lol. It will all work out!! </blockquote>

I had a great exchange with Elder Heward, he is a good missionary and overall just really a good guy. It was just one of those days that I was feeling very unmotivated but I just got out there and did the best that I could lol, we started the day with doing like 4 hours of service helping a member move all of her stuff from a storage unit into her home! It was nice to help her out, she was definitely in need. We gave 3 blessings to some great people!! and gave the sacrament to one of my favorite members in the ward Brother Eller, he has health problems so we try to help him out as much as we can.</blockquote>
Well something I want to share this week is from Dieter F. Uchdorf "<i>Suppose you were to take off from an airport at the equator, intending to circumnavigate the globe, but your course was off by just one degree. By the time you returned to the same longitude, how far off course would you be? A few miles? A hundred miles? The answer might surprise you. An error of only one degree would put you almost 500 miles (800 km) off course, or one hour of flight for a jet. </i><i>No one wants his life to end in tragedy. But all too often, like the pilots and passengers of the sightseeing flight, we set out on what we hope will be an exciting journey only to realize too late that an error of a few degrees has set us on a course for spiritual disaster. The commandments and covenants of God are like navigational instructions from celestial heights and will lead us safely to our eternal destination. It is one of beauty and glory beyond understanding. It is worth the effort. It is worth making decisive corrections now and then staying on course."</i><br />
<br />

<div>
Well here's an end to another email! Twenty3 days left and I'm going to kill it the best I can lol! Wowohwow, I love my mission and the experiences it has brought me! I'm grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the Sacrifice he made for me. I STAND ALL AMAZED AT THE LOVE JESUS OFFERS ME!!! The scripture I would like to share this week is short and simple! <b>1st</b><b style="font-style: italic;"> Nephi 3 16 Wherefore, let us be faithful in keeping the commandments of the Lord; </b>love this scripture, love you all!!! Have a good week<b style="font-style: italic;">!</b></div>

<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">
</div>
Hey Family,<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I just finished week 100, blows my mind to think about how fast it's gone! I probably sound suuuuper trunky, hah it's cause I am. Lol I now have 30 days remaining, and I'm just tryna' stay alive and take care of my people!! Haha wowzers!! Elder Birch and I are doing well!! We had a good week, Worldwide Missionary broadcast brought a few changes to missionary work. Overall they were good changes!! We got out there and found some more peeps to teach!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So we found a new Less Active to teach and she is pretty cool, her name is Sister Merrell. She's been a member for like 20 years and she loves the missionary's. She just has a few things that she struggles with but that's what we're here for, To help her overcome her weaknesses through Jesus Christ, She is also killing the game when it comes to missionary work! She gave us this pretty solid referral, we have been able to see her a couple of times this week. Her name is Evelyn. She has been looking for a church to attend and just really trying to find her place with God! We had a really good lesson with her about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how it is possible to make changes in our life even when we think there is no way!! I felt the spirit very strongly and it's always nice to get that reassurance that through Jesus Christ we can become who are Father in Heaven wants us to become, we're excited to work with these two and help them in the best way we can!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So the new changes that the Missionary Department made were in the Schedule like we now have a little more freedom in what we do in the morning time from 6:30 till 10:00, we now do nightly planing in the A.M., and the other change was in the Key Indicators.. the stuff to keep track of the work we're doing! Which will be really nice cause it now lets missionary's worry about helping people and their needs rather than working with people that won't progress! they will be good changes, :)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So I have eaten like a king this week, I'm talking La Palma (Mexican Restaurant), Olive Garden, Golden Corral and Ichiban Japanese Buffet!! Soooo much foood. It's making it very difficult to shed some lbs! But hey at least the ward it's taking care of us missionary's soo I can't complain to much haha </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Well something I want to share this week is from <i>General Conference in a talk given by Elder Josรฉ A. Teixeira of the Seventy, What a comfort it is to know that there is a plan providing us with a Savior, Jesus Christ. His sacrifice makes it possible for all people who comply with His gospel teachings to be forgiven through repentance. What a comfort it is to know that help is available for us to succeed in our endeavors to return to live with our Father in Heaven. What a comfort it is to know that we are not alone sailing uncharted waters as we go through lifeโs experiences. One gift that will help us navigate our lives is the gift He has given to all, the ability and power to choose. Our choices have the undeniable power of transforming our lives. This gift is an extraordinary sign of trust in us and simultaneously a cherished personal responsibility to use wisely. Our Father in Heaven respects our freedom to choose and will never force us to do what is right, nor will He impede us from making mediocre choices.</i></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Well everyone, these weeks just slip on by! I'm doing good, I'm happy! I love this Gospel and sharing it with the people of Florida! I love this work and I love my mission! The scripture I would like to share this week comes str8 out of <b style="font-style: italic;">Moroni 7 13 But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God. </b>Love this scripture, love you all! Have a blessed week! </div>

What's good family,<br />
<br />
man I've written soo many emails I don't even know how to start them off anymore without sounding like I'm repeating my self hahahah<br />
<br />
So,<br />
well here is another document of words telling you how my week went!! Lol.. first off, week 1 of my last transfer is now in the books!! Not much happened this week, we have just been out trying to find more people to teach and taking care of the Less Actives and Recent Converts. We have also been doing lots of service!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So to update you on the little 11 year old kid we have been teaching, his adoption is slowly moving along, it will probably be a month or 2 before he can get baptized. Hopefully I'm still here. Either way I love that kid and he will do big things for the church, he's a smart kid and he loves when we come over and teach him.. he knows soo much! I'm happy I have the time that I do to be able to share something I love with him! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We have been doing a ton of service, from volunteering at a thrift shop to volunteering at a food bank to helping members move cause this ward is sooo old so they can't do it haha it's been good it's always good to help people out. It's what Christ did!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We had a couple of people we found this week that may have potential moving forward, hopefully we can start teaching them. One of them is a sister of a member and she said she would like to take the lessons soooo we will see where it can go. The other one gave us a fake number but as she was giving it too me I pulled out the phone and as she was saying it I dialed it and called her but her phone wasn't ringing, she saw that I was trying to call her sooo she was like just give me your number and then she called us...her actual number and the 1st number she gave us were soooo different, anyways we got her number who knows where it could go hahah not my first time I've been given a fake number out here hahaha</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Something I want to share this week comes from a talk by Dieter F. Uchtdorf, <i>Will we give up after knocking on a door or two? A floor or two? Or will we keep seeking until we have reached the fourth floor, last door. God โrewards those who earnestly seek him,โ but that reward is not usually behind the first door. So we need to keep knocking. Donโt give up. Seek God with all your heart. Exercise faith. Walk in righteousness. I promise that if you will do this--even until the fourth floor, last door--you will receive the answers you seek. You will find faith. And one day you will be filled with light that grows โbrighter and brighter until the perfect day.โ God is real. He lives, He loves you, He knows you, He understands you, He knows the silent pleadings of your heart. He has not abandoned you. He will not forsake you.</i></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
5 short weeks to go, 36 days but who counting hahaha I'm trying not to be trunky but it's literally impossible. I'm just so close! I'm still happy to be out here serving the Lord, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. I love my mission and I love this work! Even if I'm not the most motivated in the world!<br />
<br />
Shout out to my little brother in Alaska just because I love and miss him!!<br />
<br />
The scripture i would like to share this week is <b><i>3rd Nephi 14:7-8..... 7 Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 8 For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened. </i></b>Love this scripture, love you all!! Have a Great week!<br />

What up family, your favorite missionary from Florida, Elder Gentry with another update! My time is short I'm now entering my last six weeks of my mission, the final 42 days. Elder Birchell and I will be staying together for my last transfer. We had a great transfer together so I'm looking forward to this next one! We saw a lot of success in the work that we did, and I've got some good things coming in the future. I'm trying so hard to stay motivated, but I'm sooooooo Trunky! LOL it will be OK I think I will make it. Here are some good things that happen this week!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Aundre was Tized!! This week we have been going over all the necessary preparations for Aundre to get Baptized, he has his interview and everything was good to go!! We had the Baptism at 9:00 so we had to get to the church early to fill the font! The sisters didn't tell us that we needed to turn the hot water heater on so about the time it was full is when we found that out!! The water was COLD!! The program went really good, the sisters had a killer musical number!! Brother Abbot baptized him 1st try! We were so happy to see Aundre make this step closer to Heavenly Father in following Jesus Christ!!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Baptism was really the best thing that happened this week, another than that we have been just working with the people we have and we out here searching for the lost souls!! Spreadin the Word!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Something I want to share comes from General Conference comes from Elder L. Tom Perry "Bring Souls unto Me" <i>The gospel is centered on the Atonement of our Lord and Savior. The Atonement provides the power to wash away sins, to heal, and to grant eternal life. All the imponderable blessings of the Atonement can be given only to those who live the principles and receive the ordinances of the gospel--faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. Our great missionary message to the world is that all mankind is invited to be rescued and to enter the fold of the Good Shepherd, even Jesus Christ. No other message has such great eternal significance to everyone living on the earth today. All of us need to teach this message to others with power and conviction. It is the still, small voice of the Holy Ghost that testifies through us of the miracle of the Restoration, but first we must open our mouths and testify.</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

6 Weeks left, I'm not gonna lie, I never thought I would be at this point hahaha it just blows my mind!! I'm super excited and pumped to do what I can these last 6 weeks! I love this Gospel, I love my mission! The scripture I would like to share comes from <b style="font-style: italic;">Doctrine & Covenants 18:16 </b><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12pt;"><i style="font-weight: bold;">16 โAnd now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the โโโkingdomโ of my Father, how great will be your โโโjoyโ if you should bring many โโโsoulsโ unto me!</i> Love this scripture, love you all have a great week!!</span></div>

He loves the people at church and how they have really welcomed him into the ward Family!!! We are happy for him and the progress he has made from day 1.</div>

We were able to see Sylvester this week and had a really good lesson, we went over the Baptismal Interview Questions and we actually learned a lot, like the areas we can help him grow and prepare for baptism, we set his baptismal date for February 25! We will be working with him and helping him in any way we can! He really is a tough guy on the outside but he has a good heart and a strong desire to do good! He is very intimidating guy but as we have got to know him over the past 5 weeks he's not as tough as he seems!! Haha</div>

This week I received some really sad news from my former companion Elder Russell, the family we were teaching in Olympia who is still currently being taught lost their 20 year old daughter in a car accident this last Friday. She was really cool and we taught her a few times, we got to know her pretty well. She even came to church one time while I was there Fortunately, her mom had developed a rock solid testimony of the Plan of Salvation and that has really helped her out. She said the things she's been learning came at the right time and she appreciates it so much. You sometimes don't realize how important this knowledge is to people until things suddenly get real. Please include the Bernard family in your prayers.</div>

Something I wanted to share this week comes from a talk, <i>"Death is part of our existence here on the earth. Nevertheless, through the Atonement and Resurrection of His Son, Heavenly Father has provided a way for us not only to overcome death but also to be comforted and healed. Through the power of the Atonement, โthe sting of deathโ can be replaced by the peace that the Spirit brings. we are dependent on the miracles of Christโs Atonement if our souls are to be made whole from grief, sorrow, and sin. โฆ Deathโs sting is softened as Jesus bears the believersโ grief and comforts them through the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, broken hearts are mended and peace replaces anxiety and sorrow.โ </i></div>

Another Week in the books, last week of the transfer coming up and then I will start my last transfer!! Crazy how fast it's all going, I love this work and I love my mission and the people I've been able to grow close to!! The scripture I would like to share is <i style="font-weight: bold;">Mosiah 16: 7 And if Christ had not risen from the dead, or have broken the bands of death that the grave should have no victory, and that death should have no sting, there could have been no resurrection. 8 But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.</i> I love this scripture, I love you all have a good week!<br />

Happy New Year everyone, 2017 is here. Can't believe I will be home this year!! I'm gonna miss 2016 without a doubt, definitely one of the best years of my life! I know this next year will be great. Well this past week we had a some good things happen! </div>

Ok so check it, this area has had a guy named Sylvester that has been being taught for the last 9 months.....we call those eternigators!! Well he's a good guy but very prideful and just a little out of the box. He says he doesn't feel anything like emotionally soo it's been pretty hard to teach him. The reason we do still teach him is cause he comes to church every week!! He loves the people and is always willing to help! This last Sunday we could see that he was talking to bishop so we wait till he's done to go say hi to him, well we start talking and he's like "just asked bishop when I can get baptized and he said talk to you guys!" It was a shock to us haha hope he's not playing with us! This week we are going to talk with him some more and set a date to be tized!! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

So since I've got here we've been just trying to get to know the ward really well and get to know our area and the peeps around us! Well we have been getting pretty tight with the werling Family. The werling family consists of Sister Werling; Sister Werling daughter and her two kids and her nonmember boyfriend! Sister Werling was talking to Elder Birchell and I one day and told us how much Gene (nonmember boyfriend) really likes us and thinks we are the coolest missionaries that he's met!! We hope to capitalize on that and start teaching him soon, he did come to church this past week! Sister Werling said "the whole family really loves you two missionaries and it's because you guys are loving, companionate, respectful and know how to have fun".............. What am I doin'? Oh yeah that's right, I'm doin' me, I'm doin' me I'm living life right now man and this what I'm do 'till it's over 'til it's over! Hahaha</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

Just a little update on Andre, He is doing well! Still working on his struggles and working towards baptism, we've had some pretty good lessons with him lately and have focused a lot on feeling the spirit and how that will let us know what is true!!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

Something that I liked that I read this week comes from a General Conference talk given by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, <i>God loves you this very day and always. He is not waiting to love you until you have overcome your weaknesses and bad habits. He loves you today with a full understanding of your struggles. He is aware that you reach up to Him in heartfelt and hopeful prayer. He knows of the times you have held onto the fading light and believed--even in the midst of growing darkness. He knows of your sufferings. He knows of your remorse for the times you have fallen short or failed. And still He loves you. And God knows of your successes; though they may seem small to you, He acknowledges and cherishes each one of them. He loves you for extending yourself to others. He loves you for reaching out and helping others bear their heavy burdens--even when you are struggling with your own. He knows everything about you. He sees you clearly--He knows you as you really are. And He loves you--today and always!</i><div>
<br /></div>
<div>
New Year brings changes!! Let us all be changed for the better, I'm thankful for this past year and the growth that I've been able to have in myself! I'm looking forward to this next year! I love my mission, I love this work!! The scripture that I would like to share comes from <b style="font-style: italic;">Alma 5:13 13 And behold, he preached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved. </b>Love this scripture, love you all!! </div>

Elder Gentry who just wrapped up his last Christmas on the Mish is coming at you from a not so white Christmas Florida! However it was a Bright Christmas, sun was shining and it was a high of 82. Christmas was really good this year and I enjoyed it a lot, of course I miss the fam but I think I had the best Christmas I could have had on the mission! I was soooo happy I got to FaceTime some of you guys and see you, I miss all of you very much and really enjoyed talking!! Can't believe I've now hit 22 Months in the field. Sooooo crazy to me! This week was good and we we're able to see a lot of people and then enjoy the weekend and relax for Christmas!</span><br />

This week we had Zone Conference, it was Christmas themed so there was lots of singing and just really good musical numbers! It was good to see some of the other missionaries in the mission. Later that day We had a little Rerun of the Christmas Devotional where we invited different investigators and Less Actives to come and enjoy all of the wonderful messages from the leaders of the church. After the devotional we had a small testimony meeting and it was very neat to be able to share mine!! I'm thankful for Jesus Christ and his earthly ministry and the sacrifice he made for me out of pure love! This time of the year is my favorite and it's really all about Jesus Christ and his birth!</div>

The work is still doing well, we have been able to make some progress with the investigators we are working with, a couple of them made it to church and really benjoyed the service and felt very loved and welcomed into the ward. Andre is doing good and we are doing all that we can to help him overcome his challenges so he can be baptized soon. </div>

Christmas Eve lunch we went to sister Werlings house and had some really good sandwiches and lots of goodies and just had a good time, it was her birthday as well so we got to decorate a cake, we had a lot of fun. For dinner the Flinton's from Olympia came all the way up close to me to be with their parents so we just had dinner with them, it was a lot of fun and was really nice being able to see the Flinton's. we also had a ton of Goodies and just enjoyed each other's company! Christmas Day I got up and FaceTimed home and opened some gifts, that was really nice. Then I went to church, It was a blessing to be able to partake of the Sacrament on a special day and be able to enjoy the real reason for the season!! After church I just FaceTimed family until dinner which was nice. After dinner I did more FaceTimeing hahaha I was soo happy that our new Mission President allowed us to talk as long as we wanted!!! </div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Something I wanted to share this week comes from a talk given By <i>Douglas D. HolmesIt....it seems appropriate that giving and receiving gifts is a central part of Christmas. After all, we are celebrating the matchless gift of Godโs Son, the Savior Jesus Christ. Of course, our gifts to each other will never compare to this gift, but I believe that the joy of giving and receiving gifts can turn our hearts toward the โgifts of God.โ The precious gift of Godโs Son invites each of us to find โpeace in this world, and eternal life in the world to come.โ Peace may seem elusive in a world where conflict and division are intensifying. But that peace is exactly what our loving Father and His Son offer to each of us, if we will only receive it.</i></div>

I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas, I definitely enjoyed mine. Things for me are still going well. Elder Birchell and I are still doing the daily grind. I love my mission and I love this great work! The scripture I would like to share this week is <i style="font-weight: bold;">Alma 7:10 And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God. </i>Love this scripture, love you all!!! Once again Merry Christmas!!</div>

What's up family, it's the most wonderful time of the year!! I can't believe it is here once more. My final Christmas on the mish! I'm sooo excited, we have some good things planed! This past week was a really good one, we are starting to see some progress in this area and we really feel that we have been working pretty hard! Elder Birchell and I get along really well and we work great together!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

Sooooo to start off the week I finally got to have an exchange with my homie Elder Thornock, my M.T.C. Companion. It was a lot of fun we mostly just reminisced the good ole days of being in the Mtc, we just couldn't believe how fast time has really gone. We had a good day, it was weird tho like a lot of weird things happened, like people actually letting us in without us saying a word, hah kinda awkward didn't know what to say! It was good tho we taught this woman and her mom! Elder Thornock served in the area that I am in a year ago, so he really helped out with some peeps we can go see and who we can possibly teach! Overall it was a solid exchange, I luv Thornock!! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

We had a Killa lesson with our gator Andre, We we're sharing a message on The Gospel of Jesus Christ and he was saying how he knows that all the things we have been teaching him are true! He is legally blind soo what he said to us was "I can't see you guys but I can feel your presence and I know that you are good young men and you teach a true message and when I went to church I felt that same feeling with the people around me." We invited him to be baptized and he said yes! We have a couple of things to work with him before he can be baptized but we have faith in him and he's been progressing really well! Unfortunately he wasn't able to make it too church cause he wasn't feeling well. He's a great man and it's been fun teaching him!</div>

Oh we taught Caleb, 10 year old who is waiting to be adopted by his Grandparents. He can't be baptized until then. He's the sweetest little kid ever, we went over there and he insisted we play a game of uno with him. You don't have to tell me twice to play a good game of uno! Haha After, we taught him a lesson on prayer and the importance of praying to Heavenly Father often! He's a lot of fun too teach he's a really smart kid. Church on Sunday he runs up to us and gives us hugs and says he's got something for us and later after church gives us a plate of Christmas goodies!! I love that little kid! </div>

Something I wanted to share this week comes from "<i>The Promise of Christmas" Elder Robert D. Hales. We canโt fully understand the meaning of Christmas unless we understand the meaning of the Saviorโs life, Atonement, and Resurrection. </i><i>I cannot think about the birth of the Savior without thinking of His words to Pilate: โTo this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voiceโ Christmas is a time to share our gifts, strengthen others, and do our part in the kingdom of God. Christmas is also a time to express our love to others and to bear our testimony of the Savior.............Each week as we participate in the ordinance of the sacrament, we renew the promise of the Saviorโs birth in our own lives. We take His name upon us, and we renew our covenant of obedience and our promise that we will always remember Him.</i></div>

Well the week of Christmas begins, I'm super excited! I'm doing good and I'm enjoying this area and I am having a really good time, I have good people around me, I love this Work! I love my Savior Jesus Christ!! The scripture I want to share this week comes from <b style="font-style: italic;">Helaman 14:5 And behold, there shall a new star arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you..............12 that ye might know of the coming of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and of earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and that ye might know of the signs of his coming, to the intent that ye might believe on his name. </b>I love these scriptures, I love you all! What's up Family, this week has been a Wild one! I'm now moved up to Leesburg and getting settled in and things are good! We have been pretty lost tho haha. Elder Birchell and I have been trying to figure things out and get the ball rollin in this area! It does seem like theirs a lot of potential and things could be good here in Leesburg! We weren't left with much direction from the Elders that were here before but so far so good! Elder Birchell is a good guy and we will get along great. I think I'll enjoy my time with him! Crazy to think I just started my Last 12 weeks in the Mission!! </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
This week we have been just getting out there and doing what we can to find different people and get to know the area! We have seen some good things, one day we were doing some former followup and this single mother and her two kids answer the door and talk with us for a minute at the door and then Invited us into there home. (doesn't happen often haha) We talked with her and she has been looking for a church for her and her kids to attend. We shared Light the World with them and they really enjoyed it. They seemed very cool and we hope we can teach them and help them learn more about this message we share and how much it can bless their lives!</div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
We have some people that we're being taught before we got here and two that were taught for the first time. we were able to meet all of them this last week, Andre, Debbie, Jonas and Caleb. Andre is a member referral and wants to work towards baptism! Debbie lives above a recent convert who loves to share the gospel! Jonas is a son in law to an active member, we were able to teach him. He's somewhat interested, he has great family support! Caleb is a 10 year old kid who is in the process of being adopted by his grandparents who are active. He's the coolest kid, they all came to church this last week and we will be working with these guys! </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
The Ward Christmas party was on Saturday and it went really well, our ward is definitely different!! So many old people but there's nothing wrong with that! They all were super nice and very welcoming! I think I'll like this ward, very loving people!</div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: ".SF UI Text"; line-height: normal;">
Something I wanted to share this week comes from <i>Henry B. Eyring, "Gifts of Peace" Christmas is the celebration of a birth. All of us have felt the wonder of seeing a newborn child. We feel humbled as we see the miracle of the tiny features and the promise of the future. We feel tenderness. We feel gratitude. We feel peace. And there comes a feeling of love into our hearts that makes us want to give and to be gentle as we remember whose birth we celebrate. For Christmas is a celebration of a birth like no other. The birth of Jesus had been foreseen by Godโs prophets for ages. This birth was the fulfillment of a promise made to us in the spirit world by a loving Heavenly Father. It was the birth of the promised Messiah</i></div>

What's Good Family, Things are shaking up for me probably for the last time, I'm headed to Leesburg West, last time I was in the Leesburg Zone I was in Minneola! My new companion is Elder Birchill, I have heard lots of good things about him! I'm really going to miss it here in Olympia, I have really grown close to a lot of the people around me! I love this ward, they really took care of us missionaries. The Flintons, Rich, Nash, Hills, Nelson's, Elender, Bishop Scherer, Baltich, Yolene, Rico, Bernard Family!!! So many Great People oh Jamie cause she was cute LOL I'm also going to miss Elder William "The Chosen One" Russell! I enjoyed my time with him and we were able to accomplish a lot of great work!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This was a great last week in this area, We Killed it!! I got to go on another exchange with the Homie Elder Gillen, I love being with that guy! We have fun! I'm gonna miss him, he's actually going up to my old area in Deland, he will really like it there!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So I went teaching with bro Nash for the last time, I'm going to miss that guy! He's been a really good Ward Mission Leader and he works hard. He's fun to be around and he's been a tru homie!!</div>
<div>
We had a couple of good appointments and had a solid night!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Highlight of the Week was the Sabbath Day for sure, The Bernard's came to church again and loved it just as much as last week! They are soaking everything up and have a ton of great questions. We also planed a lesson for them at the Scherers' home! At first they got to know the Bernard's a bit and then we taught about the pre existence and our life on earth. We read Alma 34:32 and talked about how the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides the way to live with Heavenly Father again. We talked about baptism and Jeff asked if there's a specific way you need to get baptized. He had been baptized before and wanted to know more. We shared 3 nephi 11 where it talked about the mode of baptism established by Christ. We invited them again to prepare for baptism on the 7th of January. They were super down. Kitano Bernard's youngest son (6 yrs old) said the closing prayer and it was adorbs!! I really am going to miss this family and I was thankful for the opportunity I had to teach them and I'm excited for the journey they are on!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Something I wanted to share this week comes from President Henry B. Eyring, <i>To all of us who have come into mortality, the Savior said, โIn the world ye shall have tribulationโ. Yet He gave this wonderful promise to His disciples during His mortal ministry: โPeace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto youโ. It is a comfort to know that this promise of personal peace continues for all of His disciples today. Some of us live in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, yet we are experiencing inner turmoil. Others feel peace and perfect serenity in the midst of great personal loss, tragedy, and continuing trials. โCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. โTake my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your soulsโ .It is only through following the Savior that any of us can find peace and serenity in the trials that will come to all of us.</i></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Well my time here in Olympia has come to an end, I've loved it, I'm excited to be headed to Leesburg it will be a ton of fun! I love this great work! I love my mission! The scripture I wanted to share this week comes from 1 Nephi 13 ......<b><i>i</i></b><b style="font-style: italic;">f they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb; and shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy. </b>Love this scripture, love you all!!</div>

So this is the first week we have been able to share #LIGHTtheWORLD, so far so good! The video was released on Friday, After a day full of planning we left to go visit this Less Active Referral we received. I told myself that the first person I saw and had an opportunity I was going to share the video! As we were biking down the sidewalk I stop and ask this lady who was walking back with some groceries, if I can share the video about Christ! She loved it and said she was looking for a church! We hope to start teaching her.......as we continue biking we make it to the LA Dolores, she is the Nicest old lady, she was baptized in 1975 and was active till she moved to South America cause she felt it wasn't the same. She referred herself online and said she wanted to come back! It's been over 15 years since she was able to make it to church. She came this last Sunday and she loved it!</div>

Thanksgiving was a success!! To start out the day we went to the Hills, they are a wonderful family and made lots of great food! Then we went to Sister Robertson's house for round 2! She is a recent convert and loves the missionary's, we had a lot of fun at her house! To Finnish off the night we couldn't take a round 3 so we just went to another Members house, The Carr family and had some Desserts!! We played some games with the family and just had a good time! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

The Highlight of the week was meeting with This Haitian Family, they speak really good English! We have been teaching for a couple of weeks, this was only our 3rd visit!! They are such a wonderful little family and so eager to learn more about The Gospel of Jesus Christ! We brought a Member who is from Haiti and she was a Relief Society President back home! We start teaching the lesson and we just do a quick review of the Restoration cause we were planning on going into the Plan of Salvation, after the review sister Helas says can I say something? And then she goes off! She teaches the Restoration in Haitian Creole and testifies of the importance of Authority in Christ's Church! The only word I could catch was Jezikri which is Jesus Christ haha, she talks to them for a solid 30 mins answering the questions the parents had! The mother says "I feel the Spirit so strongly and feel so good about what you have said, I want to go to church tomorrow and leave feeling changed" It was a perfect lesson and just what the family needed!! Sunday they all came to church and were there for all 3 hours, they said that they really enjoyed it! In Elders Quorum the father was commenting and even said the Closing Prayer! We hope the best for this family! Please pray for them!!</div>

Something I wanted to share this week comes from <i>The sacramental prayers help us to know how to find peace amidst the tribulations of life. As we partake of the sacrament, we can determine to be faithful to our covenants to follow Him. We each promise to remember the Savior. You can choose to remember Him in the way that best draws your heart to Him. Sometimes for me, it is to see Him in my mind kneeling in the Garden of Gethsemane or to see Him calling Lazarus to come forth from the tomb. As I do, I feel a closeness to Him and a gratitude that brings peace to my heart. You also promise to keep His commandments. You promise to take His name upon you and to be His witness. He promises that as you keep your covenants with Him, the Holy Spirit will be with you. This brings peace in at least two ways. The Holy Ghost cleanses us from sin because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. And the Holy Ghost can give us the peace that comes from having Godโs approval and the hope of eternal life. </i>The Sacrament is the most important thing that we do each week! I'm thankful that we have the opportunity to renew our covenants with God!</div>

Wow, Another week in the books! Things are going good here in Olympia! We have seen a lot of good things as of late. I'm thankful for this opportunity to testify of Jesus Christ with my brothers and sisters! The scripture I wanted to share this week comes from <b><i>John 16:</i></b><b style="font-style: italic;">33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. </b>Love this scripture, love you all! </div>

What's up everyone, Elder Gentry sending off another weekly email to update you all on the Work of Salvation here in Sunshine State of Florida, where it's actually getting pretty cold! LOL It might not be that cold, but I've adjusted to the Florida heat and 50 degrees is pretty cold to me. haha Elder Russell and I are still doing our thing, sometimes on bikes but it's all good we are still trying to be productive. We have seen a lot of good things to takeaway from this week!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Zone Conference was this week and it was really good, Elder Schwitzer of the seventy came and did some trainings. He talked a lot about repentance and how we can help those we teach understand the need to repent! We also received our Christmas Initiative for this year which is "#LIGHTtheWORLD it focuses a lot on service and how we can share the gospel by serving. A video will be released on Nov 25th and I invite everyone to share that video with someone!! It centers around Christ and how he served everyone with love and how we can serve those around us and share that love we have received from the Gospel of Jesus Christ!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So update on Karen, She will not be getting Baptized on November 26th. She will be baptized, it's just a matter of time. She is still out of town and things have happened where she has to have surgery, sooo as soon as she makes it home we will be able to meet with her again and set a new date for baptism. It's all good! Everything works out in the Lords timing!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This week we have seen some success finding, we have been tying to work through part-member family's and we have met one that has a lot of potential. It is a family of 4. Mother and 3 daughters 14,11, and 6 the 2 oldest have not been baptized. We had a lesson on Saturday and we brought with us the Young Women's President to help out. We shared the restoration and how important it is for them to come to know that the message we share is true! The mother has explained to us that when she was baptized at age 12 she felt forced so she doesn't want her kids to feel the same way but to be able to make their own decision. We feel pretty good about them and are excited to teach them. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Ok so a couple of weeks ago, we get a Bible referral and we knock on the door and this woman answers and she immediately invites us in and we teach her and her 15 year old son the restoration! Fast forward to this week and we go over there again and meet the whole family. They were really cool and they seemed very interested in the message that we share. We are excited to see where it could go.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Something I wanted to share this week comes from David A. Bednar ,<i>May we increasingly learn and more fully understand that Jesus Christ is the โlight which shineth in darkness.โ In every season of our lives, in all of the circumstances we may encounter, and in each challenge we may face, the Savior is the light that dispels fear, provides assurance and direction, and engenders enduring peace and joy. May the beautiful lights of every Christmas season remind us of Him who is the source of all light.</i></div>
<div>
<i><br /></i></div>
<div>
Things here are going really good, we are having some struggles but that's just apart of this work. I love this work! I'm excited for thanksgiving this week! I'm doing great, the scripture I would like to share this week comes from <b style="font-style: italic;">Alma 38:9 And now, my son, I have told you this that ye may learn wisdom, that ye may learn of me that there is no other way or means whereby man can be saved, only in and through Christ. Behold, he is the life and the light of the world. Behold, he is the word of truth and righteousness. </b>Love this scripture, love you all! Happy Thanksgiving! </div>

We have been doing a lot of finding lately which isn't always my favorite but it's all good, We be Busy! Haha just about everyone we talked to this week wants to talk politics haha ain't nobody got time for that!! </div>

To start off the week I got to go on an exchange with Elder Gillen, it was a good time for sure, Gillen is just one of my bros so it was nice be with him again!! We were slavin' all day building a fence for a non-member. It was a lot of hard work. Let's just say he better investigate the Church after all the work we put it in haha jk it was nice to help out. My feet were killing, I forgot my shoes so I had to squeeze into his shoes and it wasn't the best idea.</div>

This week one of the members that I've been able to get tight with was admitted to the hospital, his name is Rich! He was experiencing numbness on his left side and shortness of breath. So he went straight to the hospital because he thought it was something to do with his heart. Turns out he's just been over stressed like crazy!! So everything was fine. He just needs to chill out hah We did however go and give him a blessing, it was a neat opportunity to be able to do that. Rich has definitely become one of my homies here in Olympia and he's someone I'll keep in touch with hah!!</div>

We got to go teaching with one of our good friends in the ward Rico, he's about 26 yrs old and he loves missionary work! He didn't serve a mission when he was younger and always tells us he wants to help out and how he's on his mission now!! We visited this really cool family, the mother was a Bible referral and as soon as we knocked her door, she answered and invited us in immediately, she was very welcoming! we taught her and her kids The Restoration and we think they really liked it. They invited us to come back next week. We are looking forward to seeing them again! Rico, On Sunday received the Melchizedek Priesthood and it was really cool to be in the room, his grandfather and grandmother traveled from Hawaii and it was a very emotional experience for them, the grandfather ordained him and gave him a beautiful blessing. It was their first grandchild to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood! The Spirit was very strong and I know that's because the Priesthood is a real power that God has given us to bless others! I'm thankful for the Priesthood!</div>

Something I wasted to share this week comes from General Conference in a talk given by our Prophet Thomas S. Monson. "Love--the Essence of the Gospel" <i>We cannot truly love God if we do not love our fellow travelers on this mortal journey. Likewise, we cannot fully love our fellowmen if we do not love God, the Father of us all. The Apostle John tells us, โThis commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.โ We are all spirit children of our Heavenly Father and, as such, are brothers and sisters. As we keep this truth in mind, loving all of Godโs children will become easier. Actually, love is the very essence of the gospel, and Jesus Christ is our Exemplar. His life was a legacy of love. </i>Charity has been a focus for me this week I know that Jesus Christ is the perfect example of that!</div>

Wowohwow what a long email hahaha, can't believe we are half way done with this transfer. Things are going good here in Olympia so I'm just going to keep killin' it wit Elder Russell!! I'm doing good, feeling Blessed as always! I know this work is Tru!! The scripture I wanted to share this week is <b style="font-style: italic;">Ether 12:34....I know that this love which thou hast had for the children of men is charity; wherefore, except men shall have charity they cannot inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father. </b>Love this Scripture, Love you all have a good week!!</div>

Elder Gentry once again makin' his declaration from the East Coast!! November is here but it's still hot haha I guess it's better than biking in the snow!! This week was very long due to riding those bikes Monday thru Friday, but nevertheless we had a great week and we made the most of it! Elder Russell and I are killin it, the area has been a work in progress but the work coon and I did is really helping at this point in time! </div>

This week we had a really good lesson with our investigator Karen, we were able to bring a member out with us to help out and they were able to relate a lot and it really helped, we taught her the Plan of Salvation and she Loved it!! The knowledge of the Plan of Salvation can change everything, it brings comfort knowing God has a plan for us!! At the end of the lesson we were talking about baptism and we set a date for her to be baptized on November 26th Woohoooo!! So exciting, she was so happy! She loves the Gospel and she's learning a ton! She has come to church 2 weeks in a row and things are looking really good for her!</div>

We have been doing a lot of Part Member finding, the bishop has stressed the importance of working with the Part Member family's, this week we found a new Part member family and we had a really good lesson with them, we hope we continue to teach them and help them live the Gospel!! </div>

Something I wanted to share this week comes from General Conference, "Sharing the Restored Gospel" Dallin H. Oaks, <i>Sharing the gospel is not a burden but a joy. What we call โmember missionary workโ is not a program but an attitude of love and outreach to help those around us. It is also an opportunity to witness how we feel about the restored gospel of our Savior. As Elder Ballard has taught, โA most significant evidence of our conversion and of how we feel about the gospel in our own lives is our willingness to share it with others.โ I testify of Jesus Christ, who is the Light and Life of the World. His restored gospel lights our way in mortality. His Atonement gives us the assurance of life after death and the strength to persist toward immortality. And His Atonement gives us the opportunity to be forgiven of our sins and, under Godโs glorious plan of salvation, to qualify for eternal life, โthe greatest of all the gifts of Godโ</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

Things are going really good!! I'm loving it, just making the most of the time I have left! I'm excited for this next week, I'm going on an exchange with a former companion Elder Gillen and were going to party, I love Gillen, The scripture I want to share this week is<b style="font-style: italic;"> Alma 5:49 And now I say unto you that this is the order after which I am called, yea, to preach unto my beloved brethren, yea, and every one that dwelleth in the land; yea, to preach unto all, both old and young, both bond and free; yea, I say unto you the aged, and also the middle aged, and the rising generation; yea, to cry unto them that they must repent and be born again. </b>Love this scripture, love you all!! </div>

<span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">๐ถYou, You Got What I Need๐ถ </span>Is what everyone's been saying to us all week! Haha I wish.. it was a killa week tho. What's good everyone, Once again your favorite missionary from the sunshine state coming at you! Things are good, Elder Russell is Adorable (it's what he wanted me to put in this email) hah he is a pretty funny guy. I don't think there has been a dull moment all week!! This week has been kinda crazy but we have got some good work done, things are looking really good for this area and we're excited to see what can happen this next week!</div>

So really cool thing that happened this week, Thursday we get a text from Brother Hill in the College Park ysa Ward. And he says "Hey Elders, the other day I gave this lady (Karen) a ride home from the gas station after work cause she needed a ride home. During the ride she mentioned she has been looking for a church and so I invited her the The Lords church, I call Dibbs on Baptizing her haha here's her info......" so we were like sickkk, you can have the tism we will do the teaching! We immediately call her and set something up for Saturday at 5, fast forward to Saturday.....Brother Hill meets us at our apartment and we ride over to Karen's, Brother Hill introduces us to her and we explain to her our purpose as missionaries and how we teach people about Jesus Christ and help them reach baptism. We taught her the restoration and she understood it really well! We get towards the end when we're showing her how we pray to know and how we can ask God direct questions and He will give us direct answers. She says "I can really ask God personal questions" and we were like Yes, God loves you Karen He wants to answer your questions!! It was a Killa Lesson! After, we invited her to the ward Activity for Halloween "Trunk Or Treat" which starts in 25 minutes!! we all get in the car and drive over, we get close to the chapel and she sees the temple and asks us what it is, soooo we just went there and spent like 15 min on the grounds and gave her a mini tour of the temple! She kept saying "I feel so much p. eace here!" :) We go to the ward Activity at the chapel and it was a really good turnout and people were making Karen feel very welcome!! It was a really good day!! Sunday she came to church and it went perfect, the Gospel Principles lesson was on The Plan of Salvation and she talked about how it made so much sense and understood all of it!! she loved it and can't wait to have us over to teach her more!! </div>

We also have this investigator that we have been working with this week and things are going good for her, unfortunately she didn't make it too church. We do have plans this next week to get her some fellowship and get her too church!!</div>

A quote that I wanted to share this week! <i>Joseph Smith declared โIt is impossible for a man to be saved in ignoranceโ. He added, โThe principle of knowledge is the principle of salvation โฆ ; and every one that does not obtain knowledge sufficient to be saved will be condemnedโ. This knowledge is founded on understanding the nature of God and Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation that They have prepared to allow us to return to Their presence. โAnd this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sentโ. The principle of knowledge has often been misinterpreted by men. โThe glory of God is intelligenceโ. It surpasses all we can ever understand with our intellectual capacities. People who try to find God sometimes think that they have to look for Him in intellectually complicated concepts. However, our Heavenly Father is always available to us. He adapts to our level of understanding. โIf He comes to a little child, He will adapt himself to the language and capacity of a little childโ</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
The Plan of Salvation is simple Doctrine, because it's Gods Plan of Happiness for all of his children! </div>

Naw I've been good I feel pumped and ready to go hard for my last 4 months!! The scripture i would like to share this week is <b style="font-style: italic;">Alma 24:14 And the great God has had mercy on us, and made these things known unto us that we might not perish; yea, and he has made these things known unto us beforehand, because he loveth our souls as well as he loveth our children; therefore, in his mercy he doth visit us by his angels, that the plan of salvation might be made known unto us as well as unto future generations. </b>Love this scripture, Love you All.</div>

<div>
What's up everyone!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The end of the transfer is here! Elder Coon will be leaving sadly, so that means I'm getting a new companion! His name is Elder Russell. I don't know him too well but I do know that he's from California and he's got a good sense of Humor! He was in my district in Minneola over a year ago!! We have some good things going so I am excited for this next transfer! Crazy to think I only have 3 transfers left!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So I was on Exchanges with Elder Salinas in my area and Bishop texts us and tells us to go see this lady that he ran into at a printer store, she was printing menus for her restaurant and he was printing pictures of Jesus, she asked him what church he goes to and bishop told her all about it and she said she was interested!! If bishop gives us someone to see, consider it done cause this bishop is intense it's almost scary! Haha So we go into her restaurant and it was sketch, we were the only ones there and it was a bar that was blasting loud music haha. Lets just say it's not the typical spot you would see missionaries!! So we sit at the counter hoping she would come out of the back room, she eventually came out and we talked with her a little bit, we shared some of the Restoration with her. She's really cool and says she does want to learn more she just works a ton so it's hard for her to get any free time, she said she had to come to church to keep her word to bishop so that's good we should see her at church soon!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Another cool thing that happened this week, we were seeing all of our Bible referrals and we go to see this one lady and she is super cool, We sit down with her and talk about the Bible she shares her favorite verses with us and about how the Bible strengthens her. We share the restoration and she loved it, as we were saying the closing prayer she started crying and says that she has been praying for someone to come to her house to strengthen her and her family. We hope things go well with her and we hope we can teach her!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Something I wanted to share this week comes from General Conference <i>As we read and ponder the scriptures, we will experience the sweet whisperings of the Spirit to our souls. We can find answers to our questions. We learn of the blessings which come through keeping Godโs commandments. We gain a sure testimony of our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ, and of Their love for us. When scripture study is combined with our prayers, we can of a certainty know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Said President Gordon B. Hinckley, โMay the Lord bless each of us to feast upon his holy [words] and to draw from [them] that strength, that peace, [and] that knowledge โwhich passeth all understandingโ"As we remember prayer and take time to turn to the scriptures, our lives will be infinitely more blessed and our burdens will be made lighter.</i></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Well everyone here goes another transfer and I'm just pushing along in the best way I can, it's hard not to get trunky especially close to the holidays but I'll be fine hahah I love this Great work the scripture I would like to share thanks to Elder Gillen!! <b><i>Jacob 7:22 Now, this thing was pleasing unto me, for I had requested it of my Father who was in heaven; for he had heard my cry and answered my prayer.</i></b> God always answers our prayer!! Love you all have a good week!!</div>

Thursday was definitely the highlight of the week! It was just one of those days where the Lord made everything work out perfectly! People were home and we had some good lessons! We were Less Active Hunting and we come across this lady in the ward roster and we go to visit her. As we ask the people that we're outside her house if she lives there, they tell us "we just moved in a month ago and we don't recognize that name, are you guys from the Mormon church???" Yea "About 8 years ago I visited with missionaries quite often I even visited that chapel right next to the Temple." Oh that's cool would you like to learn more "Yes I would love to!" Soooo that was a pretty cool experience. The Lord had us go there for a reason. Hopefully we can start teaching the family that lives there and everything goes well!!</div>

So Saturday afternoon Bishop calls me and asks if I can give a talk tomorrow, he said "the concluding speaker had to bail and wasn't going to make it so I need you to fill in for him". Uhhhh I'm not the biggest fan of giving talks but i think it went good! I was asked to talk on how General Conference can answer questions we have. Here is some of my talk! <b>๐</b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i><b>"God has always spoken through prophets and Apostles....and he will continue to and as we intently listen to General Conference with questions in mind. We will receive answers!! This most recent General Conference I had the question in mind, How can I make The Sacrament more Personal and More Fulfilling? And I received my answer during the Sunday Afternoon Session, Brian K. Ashton said"..... "One way would be to make a conscious effort each week to prepare for the sacrament by taking some time to prayerfully consider where we most need to improve. We could then bring a sacrifice of at least one thing that keeps us from being like Jesus Christ to the sacrament altar, pleading in faith for help, asking for necessary spiritual gifts, and covenanting to improve during the coming week. As we do so, the Holy Ghost will come into our lives to a greater degree, and we will have additional strength to overcome our imperfections." </b></i></div>

Well another week that has come and gone very quickly! Things are still going well, we feel like the things that we are doing are moving in the right direction! I'm still doing very well, the mission is a trip! ๐It's been good to me and I've loved it!! The scripture I would like to share this week comes from <i style="font-weight: bold;">Mormon 9:29......see that ye partake not of the sacrament of Christ unworthily; but see that ye do all things in worthiness, and do it in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God; and if ye do this, and endure to the end, ye will in nowise be cast out. </i>Love this scripture, love you all have a great week!!</div>

Wowohwow what a week it has been!! While it was supposed to get exciting with Hurricane Mathew rolling in, over here in the heart of Orlando not a whole lot happened! I guess you could say that was a blessing! We as missionaries were locked in our apartment for 72 hours and were asked not to leave sooooo it got pretty boring, Elder Coon and I did survive and we found things to do to entertain us. The East Coast did get hit pretty hard but it was supposed to be a lot worse, so that was a blessing as well! Our week was a little crazy and completely different from the norm but it was a good one to say the least!!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Due to the crazy event that happened this week, we were not able to get out and get much work accomplished! We did get to visit a few people, we also had Zone Training Meeting and it went really well. The whole thing was a big discussion between all of the missionary's, we talked about missionary work and our motivation and desire to do the work!! it was very productive! They made some announcements about the upcoming storm and that's when we began to prepare! People were going nuts, filling up there cars pwith gas and buying tons of water and bread! I guess it's better to be over prepared than under prepared, we started filling our tub full of water getting as much water as we could making sure we had all of our food and the supplies we needed and we felt like we were ready to take on the Hurricane!!! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
The day of the Hurricane! Sadly It was pretty lame just a lot of wind and nothing else, we didn't even get much rain. Every once in a while there would be big wind gusts but not loud enough to keep me up through the night I set my Alarm for 3 A.M. to check out the storm and nothing so I just went back to bed! Let's just say everyone here in Orlando Over prepared haha it's all good tho!! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Sunday was really cool, so instead of regular church meetings the whole stake decided to send people out to the coast to help people who were affected by the Hurricane, we got sent up to a Palm Coast near Daytona, there was a lot of damage out that way mostly trees that have fallen and were everywhere, before we got started we all got together at 7:30 in the A.M. and we had a mini Sacrament meeting, we literally sang the first verse of "I am a child of God" and just took the Bread and Water!! It was pretty cool! Then my group went on a special assignment to help a part member family who had a tree fall through the roof and into there dining room! It was nuts there were tree limbs all over the yard! It looked like a Bomb went off, we helped them clean up there yard and then we started helping the surrounding neighbors clean up their yard!! We went strong for like a solid 10 Hours! 4 Chainsaws and 20 People Later and a really bad sunburn we finished! We did a lot of work but it was well worth it! It's always great to serve others!! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
Something I would like to share this week comes from General Conference October 2012 <i>"</i><i>Be Anxiously Engaged" "We read of the service Church members provide around the world and especially the humanitarian service given in times of crisis--fires and floods and hurricanes and tornadoes. These much-needed and much-appreciated emergency responses should certainly continue as a way of bearing one anotherโs burdens. But what about our everyday lives? What would be the cumulative effect of millions of small, compassionate acts performed daily by us because of our heartfelt Christian love for others? Over time this would have a transformative effect upon all of our Heavenly Fatherโs children through the extension of His love to them through us. Our troubled world needs this love of Christ today more than ever, and it will need it even more in the years ahead."</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">

<div style="background-color: white; color: #212121; font-family: wf_segoe-ui_normal, "Segoe UI", "Segoe WP", Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">
So my crazy week has come to an end! Things are going good, Olympia is a little slow right now but we are doing what we can to get it going! The scripture I would like to share this week is <b style="font-style: italic;">Matthew 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. </b>It's always important to share the gospel and let everyone know of Christ's church and how we can return to the Kingdom of Heaven. Anyways I love you all hope you guys have a good week!!</div>

Wow ๐ณ what a great weekend, this was my 4th and final time watching General Conference on the Mission!!! Next time I watch General Conference I will be on my couch back home. hahaha Whats good everyone, Elder Gentry wrapping up another week here in Olympia. Things are going good this week was a little slow, we didn't get much time to get out and work, we had service Tuesday and Wednesday and then obviously General Conference took up the weekend! It was good I really enjoyed the talks! <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_505_591" role="button" style="border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-color: rgb(0, 120, 215); color: #0078d7; cursor: pointer;" tabindex="0">Happy Birthday to Elder Coon who turned 21 on Thursday, we are both still doing well!!</span> </div>

This week we went teaching with our Ward Mission Leader Brother Nash, it was good we had an appointment with the Less Active that just moved into the ward, she was nice but she talked a lot!! like you wouldn't believe how much she talked it was hard for us to even get a word in but we did it. hahah Her roommate (Patrick) was there and we asked him to join in on the lesson, we read the introduction fromww the Book of Mormon and talked about the importance of the book! We asked Patrick if he was interested in learning more and he said he would, he is agnostic but we will see how it goes we think he could have some real potential!!</div>

We had a pretty good lesson with the recent converts that just moved into the ward for Fort Lauderdale, this is the family with 4 kids and the 3 youngest are members, the oldest is the non member and she seems somewhat interested it's kinda been a weird situation. So the first time we met all of them she seemed way interested and the second time we went and saw them she was not interested at all!!! And then this last time we went we taught the 3 youngest and she kinda listened in and we straight up asked her if this was something she wanted to learn more about and she said yes so we will see.... </div>

This was probably my favorite talk from this weekend it was in the Saturday afternoon session. It was by Elder Kazuhiko Yamashita titled Be ambitious for Christ. <i>What does it mean to โbe ambitious for Christโ? Being ambitious for Christ means being motivated, focused, and dedicatedw to His work. Being ambitious for Christ will seldom mean that we are singled out for public honor. Being ambitious for Christ means that we serve faithfully and diligently in our wards and branches without complaint and with joyful hearts. โฆ</i><i>In our lives we experience trials, but if we are ambitious for Christ, we can focus on Him and feel joy even in the midst of them. Our Redeemer is the ultimate example. He understood His holy mission and was obedient to the will of God the Father. What a choice blessing it is to bring His wonderful example to our remembrance each week as we partake of the sacrament.</i></div>

Another week has come and gone!! Can't believe it's already October!! These months are flying by I am still doing good, just plugging on the best way I can, I love my mission, I feel Blessed! the scripture I would like to share this week is <b style="font-style: italic;">3rd Nephi 10, 11 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world. 11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world.... </b>I love this scripture and I know that Jesus Christ Lives!! Jesus Christ is the life of the world and its only through him that we may be saved. Anyways I love and miss you all have a good week!</div>

What's up Everyone,</div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
This is Elder Gentry who hit his 19 Month Mark as of yesterday!! Wowohwow Time just keeps flying by!! This last week was good, we biked a ton but it was good! Soooo Hot!! Elder Coon is a stud and a really hard worker! We have been doing really well and getting along great!! </div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
So our Bishop is on top of things, he gave us a Part Member Family to go see and we visited them and they are way cool, they just moved here from Fort Lauderdale! There are 6 people total and 3 of the 4 kids are members. They were baptized this last February. We are hoping to get tight with them and start teaching the oldest daughter who is 19, we haven't met the parents yet but we are hoping to this next week. We invited them to church but sadly they did not make it. The kids were really cool so we will see how this goes!!</div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
Cool thing that happened this week, we were biking quickly to a LA member in the ward and we get a prompting to go visit this investigator that told us to come by sometime soon, we totally forgot to plan her in but the spirit didn't forget. haha ๐ We went to her house and she quickly said come in and she expressed to us that she had been praying for strength and for someone to help her gain that strength! She expressed gratitude to us for coming and continued to tell us that we were an answer to her prayer, We shared a message on faith and how we can grow our faith and build upon the knowledge that Jesus Christ Lives and Loves all of us. </div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<i>Because of the conflicts and challenges we face in todayโs world, I wish to suggest a single choice--a choice of peace and protection and a choice that is appropriate for all. That choice is faith. Be aware that faith is not a free gift given without thought, desire, or effort. It does not come as the dew falls from heaven. The Savior said, โCome unto meโ and โKnock, and it shall be [given] youโ. These are action verbs--come, knock. They are choices. So I say, CHOOSE FAITH. Choose faith over doubt, choose faith over fear, choose faith over the unknown and the unseen, and choose faith over pessimism.</i></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
Another week come and gone! Olympia is sickkk and I'm happy to be here! The work is moving along and we just keep Grindin' thru!! I'm thankful for this time I have to work in this area. I love my mission and I feel Blessed everyday! The scripture I would like to share this week comes from <b style="font-style: italic;">Ether 12:12 For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith. </b>Love this scripture, love you all have a wonderful week!</div>

What's up everyone,</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
it's been a good 1st week here in Olympia aka the Ghetto!!!! I really think that I will enjoy my time here. Elder Coon is a good guy and it's been nice getting to know him. We saw some good stuff this happen this week, I did have to ride a bike for a couple of days but i think I will live haha, lately I've really struggled with having faith in all that I do, I have really seen through my studies of the Book of Mormon that my faith has been strengthened and I'm excited to see what Elder Coon and I can do this transfer.</div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br /></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
The new ward seems to be pretty good, I love having the Temple Right across the street from the chapel that will be nice. Bishop Is an intense but loving guy, I think I will like him a lot. This is my 7th ward on my mission and I have got to know a ton of people that has been fun!!!!</div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
This week has been really Weird as well, we have received 13 Book of Mormon/Bible Referrals which never happens, it's a little overwhelming but it's a good problem to have hahah. We haven't seen them all but we are working on it, one of them was this really cool guy named Terrance, he lives in the straight hood hah. We biked out there to see him and we had a good lesson. We just talked about the Book of Mormon and the importance of it. We will be seeing him again this week!! </div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br /></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
We got to Volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank this past week, all I did the whole 3 hours I was there was package sweet potatoes so I'm all potatoed out haha it was nice to be able to help out I will be able to volunteer there each week so that will be good. We do have temple service coming up this week so I'm excited for that!! </div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br /></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
Something I wanted to share this week comes from a talk given in General Conference "By Faith All Things Are Fulfilled" By Elder Marcus B. Nash "Faith is both a principle of action and of power. It โis not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if [we] have faith [we] hope for things which are not seen, which are true.โ It is an assurance of the Spirit gained through our learning that moves us to act to follow the example of the Savior and prayerfully keep His commandments, even through times of sacrifice and trial. Faith brings us the power of the Lord, which--among other things--is manifested by a hope of good things to come, miracles that confirm our faith, and divine protection in spiritual and temporal matters. President Thomas S. Monson has stated, โThe future is as bright as your faith.โ I testify of that sublime, hopeful truth and invite each of us to steadfastly press forward with faith in the Lord"</div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
<br /></div>
<div style="direction: inherit;">
Well everyone, that's another week here in the FOM, I'm still doing really well. I'm excited to get to know the area more and see what we can do here. I feel Blessed!! The scripture I would like to share this week is <i style="font-weight: bold;">Ether 12:18 And neither at any time hath any wrought miracles until after their faith; wherefore they first believed in the Son of God.</i>First things first we need to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and everything else will come as we work for it!! I love this scripture I love you all have a wonderful week!!!</div>

What's up everyone,</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Things are shaking up here in the Florida Orlando Mission for Elder Jordan Gentry, I will be headed to Olympia!!! My new companion is Elder Coon! He has been on his mission for about 20 months. I have heard really good things about him so I'm pretty excited!! Olympia is near the temple so that will be awesome!! I am really going to miss Deland, I've really enjoyed my time here and the people I got to know. I'm really going to miss this Ward, it's been a lot of fun! I'm also going to miss Willie, he has become a really good friend. He's definitely become one of my bro's!!! I'm excited to go to the O South Zone with Elder Gubler who's really become a bro up here, we're really tight!! there's going to be a ton of homies like Gillen, Leishman, and Gubler I will see them multiple times a week because of Temple Service and Service at a food pantry!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This last Sunday was stake conference and we had a member of the 70 come, Elder Klebingat He gave a really good talk in October 2014, anyways he was so awesome! It was really cool because he didn't have anything prepared but he just went with what the spirit directed him to talk about which was amazing, He gave a great analogy, He said "imagine a little toddler drawing a picture and when the child comes to you with the picture you say it's great even though it is just a bunch of scribbles. It was the best the child could do at that time so you don't compare it to other children's drawings or anything because it's the best that child could do at that time. We need not to compare ourselves to others because we need to be doing the best we can and focus on that and using the Atonement to the fullest! I really loved this so much because it always happens, we comparing ourselves to each other! But we have to just focus on the things we can control which is ourselves! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
On Sunday Elder Klebingat held a special meeting for the Recent Converts and Investigators, We had Willie attend and he really enjoyed it, Elder Klebingat asked him after the meeting if he would share his testimony during Stake Conference, Willie has a powerful testimony and its been really great getting to see him grow! He said "I feel a close Relationship with My Father and my older Brother, God and Jesus Christ, they are close to me!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Something I wanted to share this week comes from Elder Jรถrg Klebingat "Approaching the Throne of God with Confidence" <i>Take responsibility for your own spiritual well-being. Stop blaming others or your circumstances, stop justifying, and stop making excuses for why you may not be fully striving to be obedient to Gods Commandments. Accept that you are โfree according to the fleshโ and โfree to choose liberty and eternal lifeโ The Lord knows your circumstances perfectly, but He also knows perfectly well whether you simply choose not to fully live the gospel. If that is the case, be honest enough to admit it, and strive to be perfect within your own sphere of circumstances. Spiritual confidence increases when you take responsibility for your own spiritual well-being by applying the Atonement of Jesus Christ daily.</i></div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Deland has been a really great experience and I'm happy about the time that I got to spend up here and the people that I've grown close too I'm going to miss it here!! I'm excited for the change! I love my mission and the people that I've got to know!! I'm still doing really well! The scripture I would like to share this week is <b><i>2nd Nephi 2:27 </i></b><i style="font-weight: bold;">Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life</i>. Love this Scripture, Love you all!!! Have a Wonderful Week!!</div>
